AEW Aircraft Construction Numbers & Bu Aer Numbers
The original plan was to list every manufacturer's Construction Number (C/N) and Service Serial Number / Bureau of Aeronautics Number in our book "Beyond the Horizon" but unfortunately there was just not enough room in the 256 pages allowed by Harpia to Sergio and I. So I decided that I would list all of the "Serials" on a website, which is one of the main reasons for the creation of this site.
Many hundreds of hours of research over the past 9 years firstly by Sergio and then in more depth by me has produced these lists. You will see that there are still gaps especially with some of the more exotic Chinese and Russian airframes. So if you are aware of any of the missing ones then please email me via the link above. That said as far as I am aware nowhere in the world as there ever been such a complete historical list put together of numbers of AEW aircraft produced and their serial numbers.
